Different Grilling Ideas

When it comes to summertime, nothing speaks the warm weather like a barbecue. There is nothing like the smell and sound of a barbecue to create summer memories. Hamburgers, steaks and hot dogs are staples, but what are some other unusual things you can grill to bring out that delectable flavor? Try some of these tasty treats on the grill for a different taste.
Fruit Skewers
You are probably familiar with shish kabab with its savory flavor combinations of peppers, onions and different kinds of meats, but try something a little sweeter, by using fruit. Some great fruits to try are pineapples, strawberries, mangos, limes, watermelon or peaches. To give mix the right flavors add some chili powder, a little lime, some cumin or some Greek yogurt. Cook each side for a minute or two to get that great barbecue flavor.

Your Home’s First Impressions

When it comes to meeting people, most of the time first impressions matter. Whether it is for an interview, at a party, or meeting your neighbors for the first time, people often remember how you were the first time you met. The same thing happens as people see your home for the first time. As the expression goes, “You only get one time to make a first impression.” Make sure you get the most out of people’s first impression by showing them your home in its best light.
This one especially hits home for me. When I went to look at a house recently, the homeowner’s were in the process of moving, and they weren’t ready for showing at the time. Afterward, when we talked to our agent, we couldn’t get over the amount of clutter that was in the house. If the people are looking at your house and see a messy house, it is distracting to the point they can’t imagine themselves living in the home. If your home is in the process of moving and c; ...

How Schools Can Affect your Home Value

When it comes to buying a house, there are many factors a potential buyer will look at. Everything from a home’s layout to kitchen to the yard. In the end, though, the most important factor is location. Often a family will want to be close to the city where they are working, at an important location near a downtown area, or even a specific neighborhood they have been scouting.
Something many sellers may not know is that many buyers value being within a specific school district. When I was selling my home, our school district was a big selling point that people used when marketing the home.
As many homebuyers in Utah are large families, a school district is often important for them. Many things make a school district highly sought after.
While sports are available in most school districts, some schools and programs within schools are more prestigious than others. Some schools may have a long tradition of being a basketball powerhouse or a football dynasty. Some ot/ ...

Why Pending Homes Might Go Back On Sale

The home buying and selling market can be a very unpredictable thing. Hundreds of different scenarios can happen. Sellers can put a house up for Sale By Owner just to see if they can get more for their home. A buyer can look at dozens of homes and find nothing, while another can look at the first home they see and be under contract within a day. With the market shifting all the time, a seller’s market can turn into a buyer’s market within weeks. When a home goes under contract, usually that is the beginning of the end for the story of the selling process. However, there are a lot of reasons why a pending home can go back on the market.
What are some reasons why homes under contract go back on the market?
Buyer’s Remorse
Just like any other purchase, a buyer can get remorse over their investment. Either they think the price is too high, they don’t like the location, or something in the house didn’t meet their expectations after first being enamored w; ...
